Once a month Colorists meet and share ideas of the variety of books and tools available.  It’s a great way to meet and make new friends.

According to Art Therapists, coloring is a way of creating artwork that helps a person explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, and reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem. We also see it as a way of deepening the spiritual life and giving praise to God.  The finished artwork can be given as gifts to friends, persons in the hospital, and those recovering from loss of loved ones, etc.

There are many coloring books for adults on the market, and we focus on Christian art work. Why not join with us as we gather around the tables for fellowship and coloring. We meet once a month on the second Tuesday morning, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.

We will meet Tuesday, November 13, 10 AM. December we will not color but will have lunch at Red Lobster.
