Our purpose: Connecting Women with Christ by bringing them closer to each other.
Our priorities: 1.) know God (through His Word, prayer, creations and other Christians); 2.) respond to God in heartfelt obedience; 3.) nurture each other; and 4.) reach our community and world for Christ.
Mondays at Birt’s Bistro meets at 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Birt’s Bistro is part of Benevilla and located at 16752 N. Greasewood St. (Surprise), just south of Bell between R. H. Johnson Blvd. near El Mirage Rd. This is a casual, unstructured time for women to meet other women. Buy a cup of coffee or a light meal. Bring a friend or make one there. Stay for 20 minutes or two hours. Find support, conversation, and encouragement. Email the church to know more.
Monthly Benefit Luncheon – On the second Monday of each month at 11:30 am we meet for food and conversation. This is a casual atmosphere for women to get better acquainted with each other. Each woman pays for her own lunch and a contribution basket is available for the project of the month. An offering is taken which supports various social projects through Christian organizations like World Vision programs and which are chosen by the group. 2018 will focus on World Vision Refuge Relief.
Fall Event – Our Fall Event is a wonderful time to re-connect after a summer “time-off.” The featured program is “A Taste of Christmas.” Before the holidays begin to overwhelm us we come together to remember the joy of the upcoming season. We share Christmas music, Christmas decorations, Christmas goodies, and provide opportunity to bring gifts for those in need. There is always an inspiring speaker and lots of joy! New friends are made and re-connecting with old friendships make the day a special one for all.
Women’s Bible Study – Open to all women of the church.
